Culminating in “The Birthday Party” at the second stage the feel of the evening will be a celebration of the past and future.

The Birthday Party and Birthday Boys and Girls!

As well as being the themed day for this years festival, on the Saturday we want all birthday boys and girls to make themselves known to us so they can join us in a special birthday surprise at “The Birthday Party” in the second stage from 11pm onwards.  Everyone will be there with great DJ’s helping to bring the event to a tumultuous conclusion, so don’t miss out!

Be warned the evening will be compered by ex-wrestler Brett  Summers (Mintsouth) and he does not put up with any messing!
The D.I.Y. Friday night shenanigans has always been a huge part of the entertainment on our first night, so make sure even if you are not performing that you are there to applaud, heckle or cry!

Stewards are an important part of the workings of any festival, helping with parking, ticketing, site patrols, wristband checks and so much more. You will see a different side of a festival attending as part of the team and many never look back, taking their experience on to other events.
You will have to work a minimum of three 6 hour shifts over the weekend (Thurs -Sunday), have to be available from Thursday 1st July for training and pay a fully refundable deposit (equal to a weekend ticket), which will be refunded within a week of the event if you have performed to our satisfaction.

Potential stewards have to be 18 yrs minimum, not be in charge of children over their shift and have a responsible attitude to their work. Last year the stewards had to turn away many volunteers as the places were full so apply early and any relevant past experience will help.

Take the strain out of camping,  arrive on site with your accommodation ready and waiting for you.
Using beautiful pre-erected touareg style canvas tents, stylish and cool, with large netted ventilation areas, the breeze flows through, while the bugs stay out.

The tents sleep 4 people, or offer spacious luxury for a couple, complete with airbeds, rugs, and room service.
The Camel tent village will have it’s own associated cafe and will be sited in a premier position in the camp site.

UPDATE: Camel Camp will also have use of our posh loos and showers included in the price! Although accessible on payment to all other campers you will have it included in the price of rental! They will also be conveniently placed for you!

The Independent 2009 review: “The absolute pearl of Blissfields though was the Hidden Hedge. Tucked behind the kids play area and circus camp, amid the Hampshire trees, was a secluded “anything goes” disco full of lasers, couches and breathtakingly verbose dance tunes, going on until whatever time in the morning people could last.”
