Camping
Camping
Thursday camping:
The campsite will be open from 4pm Thursday 1st July. There is no entertainment but the bar and some foodstalls will be open. A campfire will be lit and the rest is up to you! A Thursday camping pass must be purchased before arrival for all individuals 5 yrs and over.
Caravans and Campervans:
There will have a separate entrance from the road into the live-in area. I am sorry but we are unable to allow tents into the camper-van area for health and safety reasons.
Family Camping:
This will be at the top of the field of the campsite it is furthest from the arena all camping areas at Blissfields are close to the car park which families will be pleased to hear! Please make sure that if you camp here that you are especially aware of your neighbours and keep as quiet as possible after midnight.
General Camping:
Feel free to find your perfect place to set up camp. We would also ask you, even camping here, to be aware of your neighbours and consider their sleep patterns might not be the same as yours! The hidden hedge will be open all night, so please party there if you have to be noisy. Area open for camping on the Thursday will be restricted.
Camel Camping and Cafe:
Luxury camping for you! Bedouin type tents set up for your arrival, with room service and posh loos/showers thrown in……check here for the low-down. Roger and Dara will also be running a camp site cafe for everyone’s use!
Facilities:
The campsite will have toilets (including disabled), water points, washing points and showers (solar powered, so only cold at night, or if cloudy! ).
Passes for “Posh” loos and showers will be available from the camp site cafe situated in the Camel camp area.
St John Ambulance are in attendance throughout the event, and will be easily reached from the camp site.
Please follow these guidelines:
The organisers of Blissfields cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damage to loss of property, however it may occur.
NO GLASS!! It will be taken off you on entry, so please do not bring it, this is for everyone’s safety
On arrival you will be given two sacks: A black one for rubbish and a clear one for recyclable rubbish. Please use these and keep your area tidy, it will be a great help to us. If you are able to take your rubbish and recylable material away with you it would also be helpful, otherwise please make sure you use the bins provided.
Please take note and obey all signs and barriers
Vehicles not allowed in camping area
No open fires or bbq’s
Anyone whose actions are in the opinions of the organisers a risk to others will be asked to leave.
Please be aware that the road running alongside the site carries site traffic.
Please try and make the campsite an area of quiet after 12 midnight, families and others want to sleep! If you want to carry on partying stay down at the stage area!
The whole bowl is used for grazing and tent pegs being left sticking out of the ground are always a problem, so please try and remember to remove them all!
