NEWS /The Lockout at Blissfields

Sunday 6th of July will mark Lockout’s first year hosting the Thrice Stage at Blissfields Festival. Performing will be a collection of acts that have wowed crowds previously on our London stage including One Eskimo, Karima Francis, The Congo Faith Healers as well as Mamas Gun and Sam Heard.

THE LOCKOUT showcases the best new musical talent from all over the country. Over the last 6 months, artists such as Beth Rowley, Scott Matthews, One Eskimo and Passenger have performed on our stage. Following their appearances at the Lockout, these and many other acts are breaking into the mainstream music scene, receiving regular radio play, features on Channel 4's T4 new music shows & taking to some of the UKs biggest stages (including Wembley). The most recent LOCKOUT show presented buzz acts Dan Priddy, Vanessa Brown and Cass Lowe, alongside special guest & platinum album selling artist Lucie Silvas.

The Lockout has established itself as an extremely popular event with both the public and music industry. All 7 events so far have been completely sold out with people eager to discover the next big thing. This year The Lockout hosted a charity event in aid of One Voice for Freedom, an anti slavery organization which saw the legendary Carol Thompson and Jason Donovan perform guest spots. Fans of the Lockout have in recent months diversified & our January show spotted the likes of Dido, Rachel Stevens and DJ Yoda in attendance along with major tastemakers from various media sectors, all there to discover the freshest new talent the UK has to offer.

The Lockout formed in conjunction with the Jongleurs Comedy group, one of the worlds most successful and recognised entertainment brands. Over the coming months Lockout plans to take its format nationwide utilising the 17 Jongleurs owned clubs located all over the UK. The strength of this growing brand and its associations have led to discussions with other territories worldwide looking to adopt the Lockout concept & apply it locally in their own countries to source and present their own best new music; this will take LOCKOUT worldwide offering great new talent the world over opportunities to gain the exposure they deserve.

Aside from live events The Lockout is a full 360 music company, with record, publishing & management sectors.The first two acts signed to LOCKOUT MUSIC the label are the band Mamas Gun and singer/songwriter Sam Heard.
